The response to the initial announcement of Dartoid’s World $50,000+ “DARTS IN PARADISE” tournament and festival has been overwhelming.  Thank you to everybody who has expressed interest (if you haven’t yet, please click herehttps://dartsinparadise.com/survey  You’ll find a brief form – it takes just a minute to complete and you will then be eligible for Early Bird deals.

With our partner, The Experience Resorts, we have been working nonstop to finalize many of the key details…

Today, I can confirm the dates: January 21-27, 2025.  Special care has been taken to not conflict with activities of the PDC, CDC and ADO and, in the case of the ADO, hopefully to make the tournament convenient for players who may be attending the Las Vegas Open.

The tournament and festival (including live entertainment, celebrities, exhibitions and more) will be held in Jaco, Costa Rica, an approximately 90-minutes ride from San Jose airport (SJO).  Several area resort hotels are participating, as EVERY ticket comes with accommodations, all-inclusive food and beverages (including alcohol) and hotel transfers.  A wide selection of packages will be made available on a first-come/first-served basis.

Attendees will be able to book EXCLUSIVELY via our “DARTS IN PARADISE” booking portal beginning next month, just in time to be the perfect holiday gift(s).  Early bird specials include FREE entry fees and other substantial discounts, while available.

Payouts (equal for men and women) for the all-inclusive tournament can now be confirmed as follows:

Singles (long format 501 – both men and women)
1st – $4,000, 2nd – $3,000, 3rd – $2,000, 4th – $1,000, 5th/8th – $500 each, 9th/16th – $375 each

Doubles (501 – both men and women)

1st – $2,000, 2nd – $1,500, 3rd – $1,200, 4th – $900, 5th/8th – $500 each, 9th/16th – $300 each

Of course, there will be lucks of the draw (small entry fee required).  There may be a couple of mixed events and some “just for fun” events, including evening lucks of the draw.  Among many activities in the area: ocean/fishing excursions and, ziplining…

Much of the tournament will be streamed.

We have been asked about passports.  Valid passports are required to enter Costa Rica – and proof of intent to leave the country (return plane ticket).  There are no visa requirements for citizens of most countries.

This is the first of several anticipated Dartoid’s World/The Experience Resort darts events.  We are already looking at Cancun, Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) and Grenada.

You do not want to miss this.  Watch this space!  And again, if you haven’t yet, please click herehttps://dartsinparadise.com/survey to register your interest and become eligible for Early Bird deals.

From the Field,
