Please<\/em>\u00a0consider this\u00a0URGENT appeal to help save rescued street dogs\u00a0from losing the only home they\u2019ve ever known.\u00a0 If you cannot help please at least share this<\/span>!<\/p>\n

The Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary in remote Northern Thailand <\/strong>has recently had a major benefactor pull ALL their support.<\/strong><\/p>\n

They gave next to no warning.<\/p>\n

Saying they could no longer afford it, they yanked the sanctuary\u2019s lifeline of support for\u00a0rescues,\u00a0veterinary supplies,\u00a0urgent food, and\u00a0medicine.\u00a0 Can you\u00a0imagine!<\/em><\/p>\n

Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary was instantly thrown into grave danger of having to close.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Caring for often-injured dogs (who aren\u2019t even included in any homeless animal counts) in an area so remote the\u00a0nearest veterinarian is FOUR HOURS away, is\u00a0critical<\/em>!<\/p>\n

Right now, 25 dogs call Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary home.\u00a0 It takes about $2,000\u00a0each month<\/em>\u00a0to cover costs, and I can\u2019t bear to think that even one dog will lose safe shelter.<\/p>\n

Dedicated staff there also work tirelessly to\u00a0match dogs with forever families\u00a0around the world \u2013 including little Sandy who I told you about a moment ago.\u00a0 She\u2019s waiting to be adopted!<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unfathomable that any major funder could pull the plug on their support of such a place.\u00a0 Even a modicum of compassion would have dictated a gradual separation so the sanctuary could make other arrangements.<\/p>\n
